Primrose Hill
A 911-square-foot flat at Primrose Hill, designed and built as a calm family home that keeps the green view in sight.
So we designed the interior as a place for the family to unwind and take in that landscape, leaning on a minimalist hand and warm colours to keep the home cosy, with every element drawn to blend smoothly into the next.
Blending is the whole idea. Hidden doors disappear into the wall murals, and even the lounge cabinet is tucked away, so the contours of the room stay quiet and unbroken. White naturally brightens the space and, just as importantly, never pulls the eye away from the view outside. Black-and-white marble tiles add exactly enough texture and an elegant touch that is easy to live with.
The bedrooms are laid out to stay connected to the scenery, and in the children's room the beds are positioned to make the most of the outlook. Nearly all the joinery was custom-made by our trusted partner factory, which is how the doors and cabinets sit flush and out of the way, leaving the green view to do the talking.
White brightens the space and, just as importantly, never pulls the eye from the view outside.
