One Silversea

The owners had lived here more than ten years before the old layout stopped fitting their days. They love to travel and to stay in design-led hotels, so the interior design set out to give them that same relaxed, hotel-style feeling at home rather than just shuffle the rooms. The kitchen wall came down for an open-plan flow into the living room, and three bedrooms were merged into one oversized master suite that holds sleeping, working, dressing, and bathing in a single, flexible, one-stop space.

In the living area, a single wall unit runs from the entrance inward, folding the shoe cabinet, a display shelf, and the TV cabinet into one clean line. Pulling those jobs together keeps the room simple and uncluttered, exactly the kind of pared-back ease that good hotels get right. Black steel, marble, and a cement-effect paint finish give the walls texture and a touch of play.

The master suite leans into layered, quiet glamour. We worked across marble, leather, and steel in a natural earth-tone palette, so the room feels rich and detailed yet still warm to come back to. Nearly all the joinery was custom-made by our trusted partner factory, which is what let the long wall unit and the merged suite line up so cleanly.
