Baguio Villa

These owners were old clients of ours, a couple we had designed for back when they had just married, so we already understood their lifestyle and taste and could move quickly. Life had changed: with two young boys now, they needed a different kind of home, and the first requirement was clear, plenty of storage for the children's clothes and toys. Unlike their previous place, we enclosed most of that storage this time so the boys could run around safely.

Because the boys were still small, we gave them a shared bedroom plus a separate playroom designed to convert easily into a second bedroom once they were older and wanted their own space. We used grey fittings and tiles across much of the home to keep cleaning simple, the kind of practical residential interior design that quietly makes family life easier.

With young children and the apartment's lease situation, a long build was not an option. To hit the two-month schedule we worked on several parts of the home at once, and the owners' wish to keep the Chinese-influenced theme from their last home helped a great deal, cutting down the time needed to source new furniture and accessories. Familiar taste, a faster build, and a home ready for the next chapter of the family.
