Repulse Bay Road

In space design, we typically try to minimize obstructions to the floor plan. But for this home, we used different doors, movable walls, and mirrors to create a fluid plan that is adaptable to the owners’ needs.

By eliminating the maid room and bathroom, we created a large dressing room and walk-in closet for this newly-wed couple. With just a sliding door, this area can be blocked from the open living space for private use. Yet while open, it gives the entire space an unobstructed sea view.

The unique oval shape of the window allows a full sea view, but it makes the placement of the TV difficult. A movable wall allows the TV to swing up to 90°.
