The Leighton Hill

As the couple’s children are now studying abroad, the owners wanted to re-design their home to suit their needs. The overall design is bright and elegant – using a consistent colour palate and a variety of natural materials to enhance the classical decorative feel.

The husband prefers natural materials – the designer combines marble, leather, wood, and different metals to accentuate features throughout the home.

The wife requires ample space to showcase her large crystal collection and for storage. Plenty of cabinets, display cases and racks were installed in the living room and space was made in the bedroom for a walk-in closet.

For relaxation, the original rectangular bathroom was squared-off to allow space for a diamond-shaped bathtub in the corner. A TV screen and audio system were added for the owners’ enjoyment while soaking in the tub.
